
GG Krishna Rao, a well-known film editor who worked on classics such as ‘Sankarabharanam,’ died on Tuesday in Bengaluru.
He edited over 200 films and worked with directors such as K Viswanath, Dasari Narayana Rao, Bapu, and Jandhyala. He worked as an editor for production companies such as Poornodaya and Vijaya Madhavi Productions.
Some of his well-known films include Sankarabharanam, Sagara Sangamam, Swathimuthyam, Subhaleka, Bobbilipuli, Sardarpaparayudu, Sutradharulu, Seethamaalakshmi, Sruthilayalu, Muddhamandaram, Nalugu Stambalata, Sirivennela, Subhasankalpam, and Swarabhishekam.
The last film he edited was ‘Sriramarajyam,’ starring Balakrishna.
