Sankranthi 2024: Four way fight and Rs 300 Cr business

At last, the box office prospects for the Sankranthi 2024 festival has become clear. After Ravi Teja’s “Eagle” was eliminated, four films are still in contention. The remaining four are “Guntur Kaaram”, “Hanu Man”, “Saindhav”, and “Naa Saami Ranga”. There are no other movies that have been dubbed into Telugu to compete with these four Telugu films.

Together these films have Rs 300 crore business running on them.

Guntur Kaaram – January 12

‘Guntur Kaaram’ is a family drama infused with elements of action and mass moments. The film, helmed by Trivikram, stars Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela, Meenakshii Chaudhary, Ramya Krishna, Prakash Raj, and Rao Ramesh.

This film is the biggest of the current festival season. The film will have a wide release, screening in nearly all theaters on its opening day. The film’s ability to attract audiences during this festival season is primarily due to Mahesh Babu’s immense popularity and brand Trivikram.

Hanu Man – January 12

“Hanu Man” is a fantasy film that incorporates elements of devotion. The cast of the superhero movie includes Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Vinay Rai, and Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar. The film helmed by Prashanth Varma has garnered immense popularity in the North Indian market.

The makers are confident that the content and visuals will captivate and resonate with audiences throughout India.

Saindhav – January 13

“Saindhav” is a revenge drama that also deals with bond between a father and daughter. A perfect storyline for a seasoned star such as Venkatesh. The trailer is excellent. The movie benefits greatly from the aggressive promotions and the director’s impressive track record (“Hit”).

The film features a diverse cast including Venkatesh, Shraddha Srinath, Nawazuddin Siddique, Andrea Jeremiah, and Arya.

Naa Saami Ranga – January 14

“Naa Saami Ranga” is a film specifically intended for the festival season. Nagarjuna portrays a character from a rural background. The story is derived from a Malayalam film. The story is said to have solid base.

The film, helmed by debutant director Vijay Binni, features a star-studded cast including Nagarjuna, Ashika Ranganath, Allari Naresh, Mirnaa Menon, Raj Tharun, and Rukhsaar Dhillon.
