Production house Mythri Movie Makers has taken a sensible decision regarding ticket pricing for “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” in the Nizam region. Advance bookings for the film have opened without any additional ticket price hike for regular shows.
In recent years, it has become common for big-ticket films to seek a hike in ticket prices at least for the opening weekend or the first week. However, the makers of “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” have chosen to stick to regular pricing for standard shows in Telangana.
Trade observers say this decision comes at the right time, as audiences have recently shown reluctance to pay steeply hiked ticket prices. Several films have witnessed a dip in collections due to higher ticket rates, making affordability an important factor for theatergoers.
Given the current trend, opting for normal pricing could help the film attract wider footfalls in theaters.
