Shankar served legal notice over Aparachitudu remake

Director Shankar has landed in another legal mess. He has already been facing a case for not completing the shoot of ‘Indian 2’ aka ‘Bharateeyudu 2’.

Now, producer Aascar Ravichandran sends legal notice to Shankar.

On Thursday, it was announced that Shankar would be remaking his blockbuster ‘Anniayan’ (Aparachitudu) in Hindi with Ranveer Singh as the hero. Bollywood producer Jayantilal Gada came forward to produce it. But Aascar Ravichandran, the original producer of ‘Anniyan’, has issued a statement terming it as ‘illegal’. He said that the rights of the film are still with him.

He mentioned that Shankar stooped to a low level by announcing the remake plans without approaching him for the rights. Aascar Ravichandran demanded him to stop the remake plans.

Director Shankar will have to settle the issue before launching it in Hindi.
