In a case related to her husband Raj Kundra, actress Shilpa Shetty was also grilled by Mumbai police. On Friday evening, crime branch police officers went to Shilpa Shetty’s residence and recorded her statement. They questioned her for six hours, asking about various aspects of her husband’s business and financial transactions.
Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra was arrested earlier this week for producing porn films and uploading them on apps.
According to reports in Media, Shilpa Shetty had denied any involvement in her husband’s business. It was reported that she had said the videos were not porn films. They were erotica, which is not a crime. Similar content is available on legal streaming sites as well, she reportedly told the police.
Shilpa Shetty’s new film, Hungama 2, is released on Disney+ Hotstar today. This is her first film in the last 14 years.
