Recently, a drug case led to the arrest and release of Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko on bail. He is also facing allegations of misconduct on a film set.
According to a report by Malayalam news outlet Mathrubhumi, the internal complaints committee of the Malayalam film industry convened a meeting in Kochi to address the issue. Shine Tom Chacko reportedly extended an apology to actress Vincy Aloshious.
Vincy had accused Shine of consuming drugs and misbehaving with her during the shoot.
Shine Tom Chacko is also known for his work in Telugu films as well. He acted in Telugu films like Dasara, Daaku Maharaaj, and Robinhood.
Furthermore, Vincy chose not to pursue legal action. Instead, she is set resolve the matter within the film industry through internal mechanisms.
