Shruti Haasan is all set to begin shooting for Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Vakeel Saab’ next month. She is the female lead in the film. However, it is not a full-length heroine’s role.
‘Vakeel Saab’ is a remake of a Bollywood blockbuster, ‘Pink’. In the original movie, there is no such role for a heroine. As this is a commercialized version of ‘Pink’, the makers have written a new character, which will be portrayed by Shruti Haasan.
Though it is an extended guest role, Shruti Haasan is said to be taking her regular remuneration.

‘Vakeel Saab’ is being directed by Venu Sriram and produced by Dil Raju.
