Nani’s ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ has begun promotions just recently. And now, there is a talk that the film might get pushed to March. It is because Varun Tej’s ‘Ghani’ has also confirmed its release date as December 24th.
Rumors are rife that Allu Aravind’s camp is exerting pressure on the makers of ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ to postpone the movie. ‘Ghani’ is produced by Allu Aravind’s elder son Bobby. It is his maiden production.
Nani has not taken a call yet. ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ is a big-budgeted flick in Nani’s career, and he is releasing the film in all South Indian languages. It is a tricky situation for him to change the date at this moment.
In the last two years, Nani didn’t have a single theatrical release. He wants to reclaim his position as a bankable mid-range hero who can pull the audiences to the theaters in a big way. His last two films skipped the theatrical window for direct-OTT.
