Legendary lyricist Sirivennela Seetharamasastry wrote a song named ‘Sirivennela’ for ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ just days before his demise. Said to be the ‘last song’ he had written in his long career, it was recorded on the day the lyricist’s last rites were performed.
The makers of ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ today unveiled the lyrical video of this song.
With a soothing melody, the song talks about the bonding between a dancer and a writer, played by Sai Pallavi and Nani respectively. As the song lyrics suggest, they meet only at night, and the girl enjoys every moment with him.
Anurag Kulkarni has sung the song melodiously. It is Mickey J Meyer’s composition.
Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty, and Madonna Sebastian are the heroines. Rahul Sankrityan has directed the film that hits the theaters on December 24.
