Producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad had seen success with Samantha’s “Yashoda” last year. He is now preparing to release “800,” a biographical film.
The film is based on the life of renowned cricketer Muttiah Muralitharan. The film will narrate the Sri Lankan spinner’s life and cricket career in detail. Sivalenka Krishna Prasad has acquired the theatrical rights to the film.
Madhur Mittal, best known for his role in “Slumdog Millionaire”, plays the title character of Muttiah Muralitharan. The heroine is Mahima Nambiar. The film’s production, directed by Sripathy, is nearing conclusion.
The film ‘800’ will get a wide theater release in October.
