SP Charan quashes rumors about the hospital bill

A day after performing last rites to his father, legendary SP Balasubrahmanyam, SP Charan took to social media to rubbish the rumors spreading about hospital bills.

“All this is hogwash,” he put it bluntly.

Rumors were going on that MGM healthcare hospital refused to hand over SPB’s body to their family to do the funeral until they clear all the bills. Subsequently, the rumors suggested that the Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu had stepped in. Mentioning all these reports, SP Charan said these baseless rumors hurt them and their family members who are grieving the passing away of SPB.

“It is very disheartening that we still have people (who spread rumors) around us like these. These cannot be fans of SPB. The person who is spreading the rumors has no base, has no knowledge of what the treatment was, what was the bill amount, and who paid what amount. I will not be going to give any details now. But, along with the hospital management, I will soon hold a press meet,” he said.

“It is sad that we have to do such a thing, for one man’s irresponsible actions. We as a family are completely grateful to the MGM hospital Chennai has done for us, the treatment they given to our father,” he concluded the video.
