Sreeleela ruins the career of three actresses

Sreeleela is a rising Telugu film female superstar. Her meteoric rise parallels that of Arthi Agarwal, who signed nearly ten films after the success of her first Telugu film, ‘Nuvvu Naaku Nachavu’ (2021). Similarly, Sreeleela, who has two hits (‘Pelli SandaD’ and ‘Dhamaka), is now grabbing all films.

With every other Tollywood filmmaker signing Sreeleela, the careers of the other actresses have been ruined. Pooja Hegde has suffered the most as a result of Sreeleela’s rise.

Pooja Hegde is impacted

Pooja Hegde ruled the roost until a year ago. But now, Sreeleela has landed films that were previously assigned to Pooja Hegde. Sreeleela won ‘Guntur Kaaram’ from her. Pooja Hegde even spent more than ten days filming for the film. However, the producers chose Sreeleela as the main heroine, forcing Pooja Hegde to leave the project.

Pooja Hegde also lost her big project “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” to this rising star. Pooja Hegde’s name was announced by director Harish Shankar even before his film was launched. But now, only Sreeleela has joined the cast, and the young actress has also finished her first schedule with Pawan Kalyan. It is unclear whether Harish will cast Pooja Hegde in another role.

Pooja Hegde currently has no Telugu films in the works. She is said to be looking for mid-level projects. Pooja Hegde is the main heroine whose career has been severely disrupted by Sreeleela.

Krithi Shetty suffers a significant setback

The rise of Sreeleela also had an impact on ‘Uppena’ actress Krithi Shetty. Although Krithi Shetty did not lose any films as a result of Sreeleela as Pooja Hegde lost, she is not getting new projects. Krithi also had four flops in a row, so her craze dimmed.

Rashmika is up against stiff competition

Rashmika Mandanna has been dubbed “national crush.” She is a big actress with several major Bollywood projects. Even in Telugu, she co-stars with Allu Arjun in the biggest pan-Indian film, ‘Pushpa 2’. She has also recently signed on for Nithiin’s film as well as ‘Rainbow,’ a female-centric film. However, if Sreeleela had not become so popular, some of the major projects would have fallen into Rashmika’s lap.
