Director Sreenu Vaitla’s wife and stylist Roopa Vaitla recently filed for divorce from her husband in a family court in Nampally in Hyderabad. The latest we hear is that Srinu Vaitla refuses to agree to divorce.
As mutual consent is unlikely to happen, the case will proceed for a long. Roopa reportedly has the support of her three daughters. But Srinu wants to keep the marital relationship even if she lives separately.
The couple has not been living under the same roof for many months.
Srinu earned many assets and big money after delivering blockbusters like ‘Dookudu’ but his recent films tanked at the box office. ‘Aagadu’, ‘Bruce Lee, ‘Mister’, and ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ not only flopped but also brought down Srinu Vaitla’s status as commercial director. Now, he is going through a crisis in his personal life.
Our sources say common friends of Srinu and Roopa have stepped in and trying to make an out-of-court settlement.
