SS Rajamouli, the number one director in Indian cinema, generally takes six to seven months for pre-production for any of his films and a minimum of two years for filming, including pre-production. He doesn’t compromise on quality. Since he gained global prominence and has global release plans for his next film, SSMB29, the top director has plans to spend nearly a year in pre-production.
Sources revealed to Telugucinema.com that the director has pushed the start of the shooting date to January 2025. The original plan was to commence the shooting either in August or September 2024. However, previsualization, workshops, and other pre-production work have changed his plan.
Rajamouli has already included Mahesh Babu and other key members of this film in a workshop. The latest news is that Rajamouli to initiate the regular shoot in January, erecting a special set in a private Hyderabad location.
Mahesh Babu had already grown his beard and bulked up his body to play the role of an adventurist. The film is said to be an adventure thriller.
KL Narayana will produce the film, while MM Keeravani will give the music. After a long time, Rajamouli is not going to team up with Senthil Kumar, his regular cinematographer, for this film.
