SSR61: Singeetam Srinivasa Rao returns with his 61st film

Veteran filmmaker Singeetam Srinivasa Rao recently completed 93 years. Even at this age, he continues to work actively. He is back on the sets, directing a new film tentatively referred to as SSR61.

Vyjayanthi Movies released a teaser for #SSR61, the latest project from the 94-year-old director, who is known for classics like the sci-fi Aditya 369 and the silent comedy Pushpaka Vimana.

Nag Ashwin of Kalki 2898 AD fame will be producing the film under the Vyjayanthi Movies banner, while Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. Fans celebrated the legendary filmmaker’s comeback after nearly two decades, with S.S. Rajamouli and Nag Ashwin sharing the teaser online.

Details about the film’s cast are yet to be revealed.
