VV Vinayak, a director of many blockbusters, including “Adhi,” “Tagore,” and “Krishna,” has been away from arc lights for many years in the recent past due to health issues. He also underwent liver transplantation successfully.

Among those who met him are producers Dil Raju, Sirish, and Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy; director Sukumar; Dolly; and writer Vema Reddy.
VV Vinayak directed “Dil,” which was Dil Raju’s first film as a producer. Sukumar worked as an assistant to Vinayak on many films.
