AP Govt debunks Meenakshi Chaudhary’s appointment reports

The news reports about the appointment of actress Meenakshi Chaudhary as the brand ambassador by the Andhra Pradesh government went viral. All major media outlets carried the news.

However, the AP government’s fact-check handle on X.com reported that these reports are fabricated.

The Govt’s handle wrote, “The campaign being done on social media that heroine Meenakshi Chowdhury has been appointed as the brand ambassador of Andhra Pradesh Women Empowerment is completely fake. Legal action will be taken against those who deliberately post such false posts in the name of the government and those who spread fake propaganda.”

Interestingly, even ABN Andhrajyothy’s website, which is considered the mouthpiece of the Telugu Desam party, also published the same.

Meenakshi Chaudhary recently scored a blockbuster with “Sankranthiki Vasthunam.” She is currently working on “Anaganaga Oka Raju.”
