Senior actor Sumanth seemed to have found a boost to his career after ‘Malli Raava’ three years ago. He went on to sign many films as a lead hero but could not repeat the success.
Now, he has switched to playing ‘key characters’ in films. Sumanth will next be seen in a crucial role in Dulquer Salmaan’s trilingual. Hanu Raghavapudi of ‘Krishna Gaadi Veera Gaadha’ fame is directing this film. Dulquer plays the ‘Lieutenant’ Ram.
Touted to be a period love story set in 1964, this untitled film is currently in progress in Hyderabad. A special set was erected at Annapurna Studios.
Sumanth is playing alongside Dulquer Salmaan in the film. He is ready to sign more such characters instead of playing lead roles.
Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt are bankrolling the project.
