Superstar Rajinikanth’s fans troll Ram Gopal Varma

Rajinikanth and RGV

Superstar Rajinikanth is known for his extraordinary swag. Regarded as the king of style, Rajinikanth, in his nearly 50 years of acting career, has delivered numerous blockbusters and also gave iconic performances.

But most people think he is more of a star than an actor, unlike Kamal Haasan. Many people tend to overlook Rajinikanth’s outstanding acting performances in his early films, such as “Mullum Malarum” and “Bhairavi.” Even in his blockbuster films like “Dalapathi,” Rajinikanth exhibited nuanced performances.

Apparently, Ram Gopal Varma did forget Rajinikanth’s best performances and opined that he doesn’t know whether the superstar can actually exist without slow-motion shots.

In a recent interview, Ram Gopal Varma, elucidating the importance of stars and their onscreen presence, went on to add that stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth cannot be characters but be their own selves due to their immense charisma and stardom.

Is Rajinikanth a good actor?

“Is Rajinikanth a good actor? I don’t know. I don’t think Rajinikanth can do a Biku Matre (Satya). But you want to see him (Rajinikanth) like that (as a superstar). Without slow motion, I don’t know how Rajinikanth can exist,” he said.

Superstar Rajinikanth’s fans have been trolling RGV since this video went viral, and they remind him of the great performances of the actor. They remind him that a filmmaker like him should talk responsibly before commenting on a legendary star like Rajinikanth.
