The release date for Suriya’s much-anticipated film “Retro,” directed by Karthik Subbaraj, has officially been unveiled. Yes, the film is going to release on the first of May.
The poster has the line—The One from May One. It confirms the film’s release date as May 01, 2025.
The recently released teaser, which focused on moments between Suriya and the lead actress Pooja Hegde, received a good response. Suriya plays a gangster in the film, but there are also tender romantic moments in the film.
Rajsekhar Karpoorasundarapandian and Karthikeyan Santhanam co-produce the film. Touted to be a love story with violence and dark humor, Suriya appears in his vintage avatar.
