Sushant Singh Rajput death case: SC orders CBI investigation
Supreme court today ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to take over the investigation of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
The top court also ordered the Mumbai police to hand over all evidence it has collected to CBI. The case will now be taken up CBI totally with Maharashtra police losing their tussle with Bihar police.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend and actress Rhea Chakraborty had filed a plea in the Supreme court to order Bihar police to transfer FIR filed in Patna to Mumbai.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his residence in Mumbai on June 14.
