Swayambhu weighs June and July release options

Nikhil Siddharth’s much-awaited film “Swayambhu” is unlikely to hit theaters this month, with the makers now targeting a release in June or early July.
Although the film wrapped up its shoot some time ago, the team is yet to lock a firm release date due to various external factors, including a crowded release calendar. With “Peddi” already scheduled for June 4 and Akhil Akkineni’s “Lenin” set for June 26, the available slots in June are limited, leaving mid-June as the only viable option. As a result, the makers are also considering an early July release as a safer alternative.
Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, “Swayambhu” is a period drama that features Nikhil Siddharth in the role of a warrior. The film stars Samyuktha and Nabha Natesh as the female leads.
Meanwhile, the film’s music is already generating buzz. The first single, “Ra Ra Dheevara,” composed by Ravi Basrur, is trending on Spotify, crossing over 100K streams and gaining strong traction across playlists.
The team is expected to finalize and announce the release date soon.
