Actor Nandamuri Tarakaratna was rushed to the hospital after fainting at a rally held by TDP leader Naresh Lokesh. Tarakarathna took part in the rally on Friday morning in Kuppam, but he collapsed on the road after only a few minutes.
He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital and treated. He has been transferred to a hospital in Bengaluru for further treatment.
There are conflicting reports about his health. While the official story is that he fainted due to severe dehydration, other media outlets are reporting that he is being treated for heart problems.
