After the success of their previous collaboration, Master, Tamil superstar Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj have teamed up for the second time. The new film has yet to be named, but it is being referred to as #Thalapathy67 in the meantime.

The film is being funded by Lalith Kumar.
It was officially announced today. “The shoot began on January 2nd, 2023, and is progressing at a brisk pace,” the production company said in a statement.
The music will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The fights will be composed by Anbariv, the stuntmasters behind ‘KGF’ and ‘Vikram’. The cinematography will be handled by Manoj Paramahansa.
The producers did not reveal any additional information about the other cast members.
