Although the producers of “Pushpa 2” have repeatedly stated that the film will be released on August 15, 2024, as previously announced, many Telugu cinema producers are unsure. Allu Arjun, the film’s lead actor, always pushes his directors to finish the film on schedule, but director Sukumar is known for his perfection and has a history of delaying his projects.
Given the huge expectations for “Pushpa 2” and the hundreds of crores of rupees at stake, the producers are also apprehensive about the film’s shooting progress. On the other hand, other producers are preparing their films for August in order to secure an August 15th release date if “Pushpa 2” fails to fulfill the deadline.
Meanwhile, Allu Aravind is rumored to be preparing “Thandel” for August. “Thandel” is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and stars Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. The film is produced by GA 2 Pictures, a sister company to Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts.
“Thandel” is being prepared as a back-up to “Pushpa 2”. If “Pushpa 2” is postponed until December, “Thandel” will come on August 15.
