The makers of “Thandel,” starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, have created a problem for themselves. The announcement of the film’s release date was made long back. December 20, 2024 was the original date. However, two months ago, the team trusted news reports that “Game Changer” would arrive on December 20 and opted to withdraw.
Once the film was pushed back from that date, director Chandoo Mondeti slowed down, and work was suspended for several weeks. But the situation has changed. “Game Changer” has announced a January 10, 2025 release date, rather than December 20.
The “Thandel” team has thus encountered a significant problem. They will be unable to come on the originally scheduled date of December 20 due to a delay in filming. Even if they speed up their efforts, they will be unable to reach the December 20 deadline. The next best date is Sankranthi in 2025.
However, if producers Allu Aravind and Bunny Vasu try to place this film against Ram Charan’s “Game Changer” during Sankranthi 2025, they will face the wrath of the megastar’s family. The relationship between Allu Camp and Megastar’s family is already strained.
This is why the team behind “Thandel” has yet to set a new date.
