The one director who seemed to change the setting of Telugu films is Tharun Bhascker. The director of ‘Pelli Choopulu’ wowed everyone with his smart writing and sensible narrative. However, he could not live up to the hype with his sophomore attempt, Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi.
After dabbling in OTT space and TV, he has finally announced his third film. Tharun Bhascker terms the film a crime comedy. The movie is titled ‘Keedaa Cola’. ‘Keedaa’ means cockroach and Cola is a soft-drink brand. The poster proclaims, “Experience crime comedy like never before.”
Tharun was to direct his third film with Venkatesh but the project seems to have been shelved.
Produced by Bharath Kumar, Sripad Nandiraj, Upendra Varma, Srinivas Kaushik, Saikrishna Gadwal, and Vijay Kumar, the film will release in 2023 itself. The cast and technical crew of the movie will be revealed soon.
