Nani’s highly anticipated film “The Paradise” was earlier locked for release on March 26, 2026, a date the team had been reiterating since the start of production. Even when “Peddi” announced March 27 as its arrival date, the makers of “The Paradise” remained firm and continued promotional updates regularly.
However, the scenario has changed in recent weeks.
According to insiders, Nani has reportedly advised the team to pause release-related promotions and concentrate on completing the shoot. There have been no new promotional materials for quite some time. Meanwhile, Peddi has surged ahead, with a viral first single “Chikiri Chikiri,” followed by a making video and another song release on the way.
With this shift, The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, is now targeting a May 2026 release. The new date is expected to be announced on January 1st, accompanied by a fresh poster.
Set on a grand pan-India scale with a period backdrop, the film features Nani as Jadalu. This is a rebellious character with braided hair and tattoos, symbolizing his fight against the society that humiliated his mother. Sonali Kulkarni plays the pivotal role of his mother, while Sudhakar Cherukuri produces and Anirudh Ravichander provides the music.
