Looks like megastar Chiranjeevi would wait further before resuming the shoot of ‘Acharya’. Director Koratala Siva and Chiranjeevi have agreed to change certain sequences in the second half of the story and currently, the rewriting work is underway.
So, the movie’s shoot will only resume in January. Since March 2020, the production has been stopped.
The film’s release date will also get changed. Earlier, the makers wanted to release it on April 9, 2021, but it might not be ready for summer 2021 given the delays in the production.

The film has Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. She will be thrilled with the further delay in the shoot as she would get more time to spend with her husband. She got married last weekend.
