Thug Life: Simbhu’s intro video is unveiled
Mani Ratnam, the legendary director, is currently working on his new film, “Thug Life”. The film stars Kamal Haasan as the protagonist.
Tamil actor STR aka Simbu has recently joined the film and begun working on it. The shooting is currently taking place in various locations across North India, including Delhi and Rajasthan.
Simbu’s inclusion as one of the main leads was officially announced by the makers today in a video. The video shows a car zooming past in a vast dry land in Rajasthan, and it is eventually revealed that the driver is Simbu. The actor points his gun at the camera in the final shot.
Based on the promotional material released thus far, “Thug Life” appears to be an action drama. Trisha is one of the film’s female leads. AR Rahman is composing the music.
“Thug Life” is being written and produced jointly by Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam. The film’s title is the same in all languages that will be released. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the action drama is set for release in 2025.
