Farewell to Sirivennela


One of the Telugu film industry’s greatest writers, Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry died on Tuesday afternoon in Hyderabad. He died of lung cancer. His funeral was held at Maha Prasthanam today, which was attended by hundreds of fans and celebrities. His last rites were performed by his son Yogeswar.

The entire Telugu film industry came to Film Chamber to bid farewell to the great lyricist. In the morning, his body was kept at Film Chamber’s premises for fans and celebrities to pay homage. Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, NTR, Allu Arjun, Nani, Sharwanand, and others paid their last respects to Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry.

Telangana Ministers Harish Rao, Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Danam Nagendar and Andhra Pradesh Minister Perni Nani also paid their last respects. Music directors, singers, directors, and producers also paid their tributes.

Social media saw the floods of posts. Fans shared his great lines from various films and paid rich tributes.
