Prabhas, Pawan Kalyan, NTR, Ram Charan, Nagarjuna, Balakrishna, Ravi Teja, Nani, Sharwanand, Nithin, Naga Chaitanya, and other prominent stars of Tollywood have resumed their shootings. The Telugu film industry is back to its robust strength with the activity of shootings. The theatrical releases are a worry, though.
But a major part of the economy of the movie industry is back on track with the work for the cine labor in full force. However, Mahesh Babu, Allu Ajun, Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Vijay Deverakonda, and Ram have not resumed shoots of their movies even now. If these stars also come back to work, the industry will work to its full strength.
The production of ‘Acharya’, ‘Naarappa’, and ‘Fighter’ have stalled since March this year.
Actors are rolling in money
Nani is currently working for ‘Tuck Jagadish’ and has announced ‘Shyam Singha Roy’. Sharwanand has listed out two more movies to be launched shortly. Chiranjeevi will be launching the remake of ‘Vedalam’ and ‘Lucifer’ early next year.
Venkatesh and Varun Tej’s ‘F3’, Nagarjuna and Praveen Sattaru’s film, Ravi Teja – Ramesh Varma’s film, Akhil- Surender Reddy’s action entertainer, and Nithin’s next two films will start rolling in January 2021. Prabhas’s ‘Adipurush’ is another biggie that is all set to roll.
Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Thank You’ and Naga Shaurya’s new movies have recently begun their shoots.
Plus, many producers have begun shooting small-budgeted films with an eye to capture the OTT market. So, the industry is making up all the lost time during the lockdown period.
