Ram Charan’s Peddi, a sports drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana, is slated for release on March 27, 2026. A week before that, “Toxic,” featuring Kannada superstar Yash, will arrive in theaters. Both “Toxic” (March 19) and “Peddi” have aimed to cash in on the long holiday period of Ugadi and Eid 2026.
After these two films have confirmed their dates, Bollywood filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is reportedly changing the date of his ambitious film “Love & War.” The feature film starring Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Alia Bhatt will not arrive on May 21, 2026, but will move to a later date.
So, both Ram Charan’s “Peddi” and Yash’s “Toxic” will not have direct competition with another film. It is an advantage for both the movies.
Regarding Nani’s “The Paradise,” insiders say this will also reschedule its date once the time approaches.
Currently promoting “HIT 3,” Nani said both his “Paradise” and Ram Charan’s “Peddi” are pan-India releases and can thrive side by side. “I hope both films become massive blockbusters,” he remarked. He said that he welcomes the healthy competition and has no plans to move aside for Peddi.
But insiders say Nani will eventually change its date and pave the way for “Peddi” for a smooth release.
