Actress Trisha took to social media to declare that she, too, had tested positive for COVID-19. She contracted the coronavirus a week ago. She is now on the path of recovery.
“Despite taking all the precautions and safety measures, I tested positive just a little before the New Year. You name the symptoms, I had it! Even tho it was one of my most harrowing weeks, I am recovering and feel better today thanks to my vaccinations,” she posted on her Instagram account.
The 38-year-old actress got vaccinated. She urged everyone to be safe and wear masks.
“I request everyone to do the same and mask up. Hoping to clear my tests and fly back home soon. My heartfelt thanks to the best family and friends I have and for all the prayers,” she added.
Trisha last appeared in Rajinikanth’s ‘Petta’ two years ago. She is currently acting in Mani Ratnam’s epic drama ‘Ponniyan Selvan’ and other projects.
Trisha lives in Chennai.
