Trisha skips birthday post for Vijay, fans start guessing

The close bond between Trisha and Vijay, now the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, has long been a subject of discussion among fans and the media. Having acted together in several successful films, the duo has often found themselves at the center of relationship rumors. However, Trisha’s silence on Vijay’s birthday (June 22) this year has become a major talking point.

For the past four years, Trisha had made it a point to wish Vijay on his birthday through Instagram, often sharing pictures of them together. This year, however, she neither posted a message on her Instagram feed nor shared anything on her Stories.

Her decision has sparked speculation on social media. Some believe she may have deliberately stayed away from making a public gesture amid reports that Vijay and his estranged wife Sangeetha are attempting to reconcile. Others even claimed that Trisha had unfollowed Vijay on Instagram.

The reality, however, is that Trisha never followed Vijay on Instagram in the first place. Another possibility being discussed is that she chose not to post anything publicly to avoid fueling further political or personal speculation, especially now that Vijay occupies a high-profile position.

Vijay’s personal life has remained under public scrutiny in recent months. His wife Sangeetha filed for divorce in December 2025, and the case is currently pending, with the next hearing scheduled for August. At the same time, reports in the Tamil media have suggested that efforts are being made within the family to bring about a reconciliation.

Meanwhile, Vijay and Trisha have continued to be seen together at public events. Vijay attended a wedding function where Trisha was also present with him, and she accompanied him when he visited actor Ajith Kumar’s residence to offer condolences following the passing of Ajith’s mother.

Against this backdrop, Trisha’s decision to skip a birthday wish this year has naturally attracted attention and fueled fresh speculation.
