Trivikram, despite being one of the top directors of Telugu cinema, didn’t attempt films that would become pan-Indian blockbusters. Until now, he stuck to his usual stories revolving around family sentiments, love, and entertainment laced with action episodes.
However, he now desires to venture beyond his familiar territory and try something novel. He is going all out to make a massive film with a minimum of Rs 500 crore budget.
The film he will be directing next will have fantasy as well as mythological elements. The budget will be in the range of Rs 500 crore. Allu Arjun is the hero of the film.
With the “Pushpa” series, Allu Arjun already garnered a pan-Indian star image, and his films are doing massive business. The theatrical business of “Pushpa 2” reportedly is around Rs 400 crore. The OTT and additional revenues are expected to match this business.
Given this market, Trivikram is aiming for such a massive budget. The film will start rolling in April 2025.
