Trivikram’s God of War: NTR will headline, Allu Arjun moves on

Allu Arjun and NTR

Trivikram Srinivas’s ambitious project “God of War”, a mythological drama reportedly based on Lord Murugan (Kartikeya), has been in the news for quite some time. The film is expected to be Trivikram’s first attempt in the mythological genre and also his entry into the pan-Indian market.

For months, there has been speculation about who would headline the film: NTR or Allu Arjun. Initially, Trivikram planned the project with Allu Arjun. However, the actor prioritized a film with director Atlee and began holding discussions with other filmmakers, leaving the project in uncertainty.

Following this development, Trivikram approached NTR and secured his approval for the film. Later, several developments in the industry again triggered speculation about whether the project would shift back to Allu Arjun.

Sources say Allu Arjun had recently reached out to Trivikram and expressed interest in collaborating again. Given Allu Arjun’s strong pan-Indian market, there were discussions about reviving the project with him in the lead.

However, it is now being said that Trivikram is likely to move forward with NTR for “God of War”, putting an end to the uncertainty around the casting.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun has already lined up multiple projects. After completing his film with Atlee, he is expected to collaborate with Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj and Malayalam director Basil Joseph.
