Telugu producers are planning theatrical releases next month. Films like ‘Thimmarusu’ (July 30) and ‘SR Kalyana Mandapam’ (August 6) have already locked their dates. Now, Nani starrer ‘Tuck Jagadish’ is also looking at the Independence Day weekend release. Either August 13 or August 30 are the dates the makers are exploring.

But they are waiting for a clearer picture to emerge about the opening of the theaters.
The makers of ‘Tuck Jagadish’ had rejected direct-OTT release offers.
Besides Nani, ‘Tuck Jagadish’ also stars Jagapathi Babu. Aishwarya Rajesh and Ritu Varma are the female lead. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, it was slated to hit the screens in April this year.
Bankrolled by Shine Pictures, the film has music by SS Thaman.
