‘Uppena’, which hit the screens in February, is one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema this year. The featuring newcomers Panja Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty also had garnered a high viewership when it premiered recently.
Interestingly, the film has gained the same viewership in its second telecast as well. In its premiere (first telecast), the film had received 18.51 TVR. The second telecast clocked an 11.37 rating, which is something rare.
The romantic drama has struck a chord with regular moviegoers.
The film’s massive success had made its lead pair Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty stars. The film’s director Buchibabu is yet to announce his second film.
