“Hi Nanna,” which premiered in the United States on December 6, is making good money. The film, a family drama about a husband, a missing wife, and their daughter, is expected to gross $900k in its first weekend.
The film has so far grossed $700k and is trending quite well.
Nani is one of the few Telugu stars who has a strong fan base in the United States. The majority of his films are successful in the United States, grossing more than $1 million. Nani also went to the United States to promote the film and ensure that it made more money.
“Hi Nanna,” directed by newcomer Shouryuv, received mixed reviews, with critics calling it a predictable sentiment drama with emotional undertones. The climax episode and songs have worked in its favour, the critics added.
The distributors in the United States profited from all of Nani’s recent films. “Hi Nanna”, too, will become another good hit for Nani in overseas market.
