Varun Tej’s ‘Ghani’ has been facing issues about the release. Billed to be a sports drama, it got postponed multiple times. July 2020 was the original date. Due to coronavirus, it was shifted to July 31st, 2021. Very recently, the makers had announced Deepavali 2021 as the release date. But the buzz is that the film is again opting for another date.
‘Ghani’ is a boxing drama that features Varun Tej as a boxing champion. Directed by newcomer Kiran Kumar Korrapati, the film also features Kannada star Upendra and Bollywood senior actor Sunil Shetty.
Rumors have it that Varun Tej was not happy with the director’s work. But the makers had denied them. It is not known why the film is moving out of the Deepavali race.
Varun Tej underwent physical transformation to play this role. He also took training in boxing. Along with this film, Varun Tej is also acting in ‘F3’.
