Varun Tej has joined Jana Sena’s electoral campaign in Pithapuram. He is the first star from Pawan Kalyan’s family to participate in the campaiganing efforts. Varun Tej began working right away after arriving in Pithapuram on Saturday.
The Jana Sena team and party members received Varun Tej at Rajamundry Airport. He then went to Pithapuram’s Sri Kukkuteswara Swamy Temple with his father, Naga Babu, to offer prayers.
Pawan Kalyan is running for the Andhra Pradesh assembly from the Pithapuram constituency. Pawan Kalyan, the president of the Jana Sena party, which has formed an alliance with the TDP and the BJP, is touring numerous areas to campaign for the alliance candidates. As a result, the Jana Sena has invited cinema personalities such as Varun Tej to canvass for Pawan Kalyan in Pithapuram.
Despite launching his Jana Sena party in 2014, Pawan Kalyan has yet to be elected to the legislature. In the 2019 elections, he lost two of the seats he ran for.
So, his victory in the Pithapuram constituency this time is believed critical to his political future.
