Megastar Chiranjeevi has given his agreement to act in the Telugu remake of Tamil hit ‘Vedhalam’. He is said to be impressed with all the modifications that have been done in the Telugu script by director Meher Ramesh and his writing team.
However, the film’s formal announcement is expected to come only after Chiranjeevi resumes the shoot of ‘Acharya’ in November.
The megastar has plans of launching two movies next year. ‘Vedhalam’ remake will begin first. Meher Ramesh will direct this remake while Anil Sunkara’s production house will bankroll it.
