Veteran actor M Balayya passed away on Saturday morning at his residence in Hyderabad. He was 94. Balayya had acted in more than 300 films.
He was popular for playing roles like judge and police officers.
Balayyya was also a famous writer, director, and producer. On his banner Amrutha films, he had produced many hit movies. Shobhan Babu starrer ‘Chelleli Kaapuram’, Krishna’s ‘Neram Siksha’, ‘Chuttalunnaru Jagratha’ and ‘Oorikichina Maata’ are some of his popular productions.
As a director, he made films such as ‘Pasupu Taadu’, ‘Police Alludu’, ‘Nijam Chebite Nerama’, etc.
He won Nandi awards as a writer and producer.
