Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika perform pooja at ancestral village

The post-wedding celebrations of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna continue with traditional rituals.

The newly married couple performed Sathyanarayana Swamy Puja at Vijay Deverakonda’s ancestral village, Thummanpeta, near Achampet in Mahbubnagar district of Telangana. Villagers accorded them a warm and grand welcome during the visit. The actor’s family has reportedly built a new house in the village recently, adding emotional significance to the ceremony.

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika tied the knot on February 26 in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur. After returning to Hyderabad, they offered prayers at a TTD temple in the city. Rashmika also visited the residence of Revanth Reddy to invite him and his family to their wedding reception.

The couple also attended the bridegroom ceremony of Allu Sirish amid their own celebrations.

They are set to host their wedding reception on March 4 in Hyderabad.
