Tamil superstar Vijay’s new film is titled ‘Beast’. Vijay celebrates his birthday tomorrow (June 22). On this occasion, the makers unveiled the first look poster and title.
Vijay can be seen in a banyan and jeans and the first look shows Vijay wielding a machine gun. He looks intense and massy. Continuing the trend of English titles, the makers have named this catchy title – Beast. His previous blockbusters had similar English names – ‘Whistle’ and ‘Master’.
Directed by Nelson Dileep Kumar, this is Vijay’s 65th film and Sun Pictures is bankrolling the project. Pooja Hegde is the heroine. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music. The film’s shoot is in progress.
Beast doesn’t currently have a release date.
Vijay has also gained a market for his movie in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with recent successes. To strengthen his market in Telugu, he will also be teaming up with director Vamshi Paidiaplly for producer Dil Raju soon.
