“Waltair Veerayya,” starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, was released on January 13th with little fanfare. It had less buzz than “Veera Simha Reddy,” and the reviews were not encouraging. Nonetheless, the film became a box office success.
Furthermore, the film has nearly collected more than Rs 96 crore in a week’s time. In the first week, it surpassed the $2 million mark in the United States. The film had a truly remarkable theatrical run.
“Waltair Veerayya” is now in its second week. Although the film’s box office took a significant dip near the end of its first week, it still grossed a large sum. This weekend, the film will surpass the Rs 100 crore mark, and all buyers will break even.
