As Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Acharya’ is getting ready for release, we are getting to know the various kinds of challenges faced by the team in making this film.

The ticket price of this film has been hiked. Why? Chiranjeevi reasoned that neither he, Ram Charan nor Koratala Siva has made a single rupee on this film so far.

The pandemic that struck in 2020 has damaged the finances of the film industry. The producers Niranjan Reddy and Ram Charan have paid Rs 50 crore as interest on the money borrowed for the film’s production.

Such situations in production are unheard of in Tollywood. Hence Chiru told that to overcome such situations the Government is magnanimously helping them. Also, the audiences are lending support.

‘Acharya’ will come to theatres on 29th April. The film has Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and Pooja Hegde in the lead. Koratala Siva has directed it.
