‘Pushpa The Rise’ had a sensational run in Telangana during the first weekend. The film collected about Rs 23 crore in the first three days, which is phenomenal. This is on par with the lifetime run of some of the biggest blockbusters.
The theater admission prices were vastly increased for this film in Telangana. The increase in ticket prices and extra shows have helped the film get such a staggering gross. But more importantly, Allu Arjun has succeeded in bringing the audiences to the theaters.
Despite mixed reactions from the audiences and not-so-encouraging reviews, the film sustained momentum throughout the weekend. Thus the film emerged as a big opener in Telangana. The film also set a new record at RTC X-Roads (a hub of single-screen theaters in Hyderabad). It collected about Rs 1 crore gross at RTC X-Roads in just three days.
Directed by Sukumar, ‘Pushpa The Rise’ has Rashmika Mandanna as the heroine.
