Director Puri Jagannadh had previously delivered many blockbusters, including iconic hits such as “Pokiri,” but the popular filmmaker has delivered two disasters in a row. While the film “Liger,” starring Vijay Deverakonda, put him under financial difficulty, the latest release, “Double iSmart,” added to his woes.
He has usually collaborated with the existing top stars. He can now only work with young actors like Sai Dharam Tej, Teja Sajja, Adivi Sesh, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, and Vishwak Sen.
Nandamuri Balakrishna agreed to work with him again, despite the fact that their last collaboration, “Paisa Vasool,” was a fiasco. Balakrishna, however, has signed Boyapati Srinu’s next film. He will also be supervising the production of his son Mokshagna’s first film, set for launch soon under the direction of Prasanth Varma. As a result, Balakrishna will be unable to team up with Puri Jagannadh this time.
We’ll have to see how Puri convinces the aforementioned young stars. We hope he regains craze as a director, focusing on new script concepts.
